Blue magmatic-related sapphire from Issoire, Puy-de-D么me, France, unheated. One can observe many flat cavities containing a natural vitreous substance, with gas bubbles. It is normal to find natural vitreous substances in corundum of magmatic-related origin, particularly in rubies from the Thai/Cambodian border region.
